Forest bathing is all about slowing down and using the senses to immerse yourself in the woodland environment. It’s about allowing the natural environment to ease us into being present in the here and now. As an activity focused on awareness, it shares a lot with mindfulness practices but with its own unique approach rooted in the natural world.
I act as facilitator to allow each participant to foster their direct connection with the natural world in their own way through invitations focused around sensory stimulation, gentle physical movement, creativity and shared community.
My Forest School for Grown-Ups events are a creative and therapeutic take on Forest School - letting us adults get in touch with our playful and exploratory side. I take a relaxed and free-flowing approach combining nature connection, creative invitations and a taster of activities like fire-lighting (so we can toast marshmallows, of course!).
I can also put together bespoke sessions for individuals, small family or friends groups or organisations. For more information on public events head to my Eventbrite or Facebook page.
